Autodesk 3DSMax

The question arose about the availability of student versions or trial versions of 3DSMax;

additionally I have been checking around and found that a student version from someplace like Academic Superstore (a discount student bookstore) has 3DS Max for around a $100 for a 13 month license. A full version upgrade will cost you somewhere around $1500. Note: I did see discount software available out there such as - ($150)with restriction to selling the products for private purposes only!
